Blurred Horizons Solo Exhibition

As a long-time commuter, I’ve spent countless hours navigating traffic and the frustrations that come with it. Over time, however, I’ve come to embrace a quieter philosophy: within the stillness of gridlock, I’ve found unexpected moments of beauty.

In these pauses—when the world outside my windshield slows down—I find myself deeply present. I've begun documenting these moments, often through the lens of rain cascading across my car windows, as a way to reflect on stillness, perspective, and presence. After capturing it, I am then inspired to recreate it with acrylic paints.

Traffic has become more than an inconvenience; it’s a teacher. It has shown me that happiness and gratitude are not outcomes, but choices. When I’m stuck in place, rather than resisting the delay, I choose to observe, to feel, and to find calm in the chaos. I embrace the quiet. I find beauty in each storm.
