First, I want to thank everyone who came and supported this art event yesterday in NY! What an incredible turn out. Thank you to those who purchased my paintings. I am grateful that they have new homes that will love and enjoy them.
“ The Shoebox Project for Shelters collects and distributes gifts in the form of Shoeboxes to women who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness in communities across Canada and in the US. Each Shoebox is filled with items valued at $50 that any woman is likely to enjoy, but may not splurge on for herself in difficult times.”
We love what they stand for as we believe everyone deserves to have the opportunity to succeed. Sometimes women in poverty lack the confidence to obtain just that. We believe this program is an inspiring way to reflect the times in which we live.
