I am a mother. Before parenthood I was an artist.

And now I'm attempting to blend the two.

Parenthood has been a humbling and overwhelming experience. As an artist, I've always believed in freedom of expression but when becoming a mother I felt guilty of expressing anything but happiness.

Motherhood can be challenging.

Life can be challenging.

Finding laughter and an outlet through those rough times has helped me realize I can still merge the old and new me.
